Summary:Potential privacy issue for new image hosting subdomain for some users
Description:
So recently I've noticed the thesearentreal subdomain, it seems to be a substitute for img4, for certain special tags (same as the fringe benefits cookie ones) as the default for those tags. I wonder if this is for some legal reason to prefer hosting images from that one? If so I understand, but if it's just an alias, I'd like to mention that I've seen some users that found the domain suspicious and wouldn't click the link, when it first appeared - this isn't important to me personally, but if this domain is used just for serving *that* content, it probably leaks to the ISP or DNS resolver *what* the user is accessing, and given the nature of the content and the user's location that may not be very good for them.
Again, I do not particularly care for this myself, the content is both legal where I live and I always access gelbooru through one of: VPN/proxy/Tor, so I this information leak is not so important for me, but it might be for others, so I have made this ticket for the site staff/admins to consider this aspect.
