She made her voice acting debut on 1988 in the anime Ace wo Nerae 2. In her earlier career, she often played a lot of energetic young women but played more mature women more often from the 2000s onward. Nevertheless, she reprised her most iconic role in Sailor Moon Crystal whereas the other Sailor Senshi are voiced by new and younger seiyuu. She also voices Boa_Hancock in the anime series One_Piece.
