Her debut video was released on June 3, 2018, but that was the only video she would ever release under hololive because she was embroiled in a behind the scenes controversy with someone who had previously worked with her. Cover co. concluded that Hitomi that she had breached her contract during the controversy and she was terminated on June 26, 2018. Because of the controversial circumstances behind her departure, her channel was deleted, Twitter hidden, and she has no profile on the hololive website nor she has ever been mentioned on any official hololive media.
