Her first design was done by Ikaki and her later designs were done by amagai_tarou. She debuted on September 7, 2017. She is an optimistic and cheerful girl who specializes in singing and dancing. While hololive's vtubers are marketed as idols, she is one of the few to adhere closely to that concept in her design, personality, and content. She is notably one of the bravest members in the group, not only enjoying horror games but also being unfazed by them. She is often accompanied by Ankimo, a teddy bear that imitates her actions, and Yuujin_A, the technical manager of hololive. She is treated as the ultimate senpai figure in the group and even the wildest hololive members will still defer to her and respect her whenever she collaborates with them. As the first member and founder of the agency, she is often picked to be the face of the company in crossovers. She was a playable character in the Azur_Lane x hololive crossover event and was a support character in VVVTune. She is also the sole hololive member to be part of the 2019 vtuber crossover anime Virtual-san_wa_Miteiru.
