Now Viewing: police_helicopterTag type: General A helicopter that is used by the police. It is often used to chase suspects and for surveillance. It's much harder to evade a police helicopter compared to a police cruiser thanks to their top down view and ability to fly over obstacles. A police helicopter can keep visual on a fleeing suspect without making the pursuit more dangerous for drivers and pedestrians below, allowing officers further ahead to set up a relatively safe "trap" to stop/slow the suspect.
